Making Adjustments - Meditations on Learning with Children
It will be well used resource in 2025 as children's wellbeing is so important in our present times, along with the importance of self reflection and slowing down.
I honestly cannot wait for the new year to start to get stuck into using this book for our team! The thought provoking questions, links to 8 Ways of Learning and more make it such a useful tool.
These posters are simply fantastic!! a unique and beautiful representation of 'the child' as a competent and capable citizen from birth. Beautiful quality and size, written perfectly from the heart of the child in a way that is simple and easy to understand by the whole community. We love these posters so much that we ordered 3 more sets so that each of our ELC can have a set to share with their children, families and community.
I’ve been searching for a journal/diary that covered all areas and this one is exactly what I needed. It took a lot of time to find you, Inspired EC. I’ll definitely get one in 2025
Bought as a gift for my daughter who is just starting a traineeship in Early Childhood. Not only does it look great but it's full of really helpful information and ideas. It will definitely be very well used
I work with families in playgroups and I am often asked about "why is my child..........." and these posters will be a great resource and an "easy to understand " way to explain schema's to families and how to support their needs and meet them at their developmental level.
Dance with Me in the Heart was a well-read book when working with babies. I gave the book away. Now I am in the care of my great grand child I purchased two copies so that I can gift it on to the parents on her return. This book inspires and makes such good sense. It is, in my opinion, the only book parents should read. I have also attended a workshop around this book as well. Penny Brownlee and Jean Rockel are amazing women with their practical knowledge.
Recently I had the pleasure of joining one of the 8ways sessions that we have been running with Worimi/Biripi man Uncle Wayne Anderson, and WOW. The discussions we had we rich and thought provoking, and it was when we were exploring the concept of learning being non-linear, that I had a lightbulb moment. Play is the ultimate in non-linear learning!
In recent months, we've been sharing with clients some practical ways to use their card sets, so we thought - why not put it together and share it with everyone. That way, if you've been checking out the card sets and thinking "I'm not sure what I should do with them"... you will have some ideas to get you started!
We do a lot of printing. In fact, every year between September and January we print over 1000 Reflective Journals. So, we are offsetting our printing through PrintReleaf - we print for you, and they plant trees for us!
To the right is a tracker which shows our printing and the number of trees that have been planted as a result
